While it has been a number of years since the Daily Press hosted a cooking show event like the one coming to the Island, all previous cooking shows sold out quickly. Only 300 tickets will be sold to the show.

Two culinary experts will demonstrate how to prepare multiple dishes featuring the best of locally produced ingredients, like mushrooms from UP Gourmet Mushrooms, of Trenary, and fresh garlic from Lanaville Garlic Farm, of Bark River.ĭoors open at 9 a.m., lunch will be provided during an intermission between two cooking sessions, and guests can expect giveaways during the event. 14 at the Island Resort & Casino Convention Center.
